Gurukul, which means a traditional Hindu residential school, was established in Pune, India in 2012 by Swati Shrimali. The idea behind its inception was to provide mentorship and education to her own children and a few other students who were in need of extra academic support. The first batch of students enrolled in Gurukul showed remarkable improvement in their academic performance and behaviour, which resulted in increased popularity and demand for the tuition classes.
Over the years, Gurukul has expanded its reach and now caters to students upto class eight. The classes have become highly sought after due to the almost exceptional results that the students have achieved, both academically and in terms of their overall development.
